We can also assist you with grocery shopping, or special gift requests to be setup before to your arrival. 1. Short Term Rentals – Under one month – Cancellations made thirty-one (31) days or longer before the arrival date will receive a refund of the deposit, less a $150 administrative fee. Cancellations made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date will be subject to forfeiture unless the property is re-rented for the exact time period and rate. If the property is re-rented guests will receive their rental payment back, plus deposit, less the $100 administrative fee. We regret that there are no refunds for late arrivals (next day), early departures or no shows.
If you are accidentally locked out of your unit, please call (843) 855-5154 or 843-222-0192 for assistance. You will be charged a fee each time someone needs to respond to a lock-out during your stay. For more info, please call the office.
Arrival and Departure Procedures:
Check in time is between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm Jun – July. DO NOT enter the property earlier than 4pm without first calling either number listed below. Early arrivals (2:00pm) may be possible with advance approval for an early make ready fee of $50. If a late departure is needed, the cost is $25 per hour after the 10:00am check out time. Please contact our office for late departure approval at least two hours before check out time. If you decide to leave the property earlier than 10am please call 843-855-5154 OR 843-222-0192.
Short term reservations (up to 30 days): A 50 % deposit against the Total Rental Amount is required to guarantee your reservation. Deposit is due at time of booking and is payable by credit card. The remaining balance is due thirty (30) days before arrival. Balances not paid in full by the due date are subject to cancellation. Balances may be paid by personal check or you may authorize Myrtle Beach Vacation Rental Pros to charge a credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Full payment is required at the time of booking if your booking date is less than 30 days from your arrival date. Long term reservations (31 days and over): A $350 security deposit is required for winter or other reservations from one to six months. A security deposit equal to one month’s rent is required for a lease that is seven months or longer. A rental application, credit check and background check will be required for any leases seven months or longer. A lease will be required for visits thirty days and over.
No refunds will be given for cancellations or trip interruption due to inclement weather or illness. See our section concerning trip interruption insurance above.
If a hurricane warning has been issued, guests should monitor the weather channel for any updates on television or radio. In the event of a mandatory evacuation order in the rental properties area issued by the Horry County Emergency Management Authority, all guests must collect all belongings and evacuate immediately Myrtle Beach Vacation Rental Pro s and emergency personnel will make every attempt to notify all guests. Follow the departure instructions regarding keys and the villa posted in the unit. After the hurricane has passed, Myrtle Beach Vacation Rental Pros inspects every rental. After inspection, if the guest has remaining days of the rental, guests who have remained close to the area may return, if the property is deemed safe. If the property is unsafe, every attempt will be made to re-accommodate guests. Myrtle Beach Vacation Rental Pros is not responsible for any injuries or losses incurred by an Act of God. Myrtle Beach Vacation Rental Pros does not reimburse guests for expenses related to a hurricane.
Taxes and Fees:
All rentals are subject to South Carolina sales, hospitality and accommodations tax. The combined tax rate is 13.5% for North Myrtle Beach rentals, and 14.5% for Myrtle Beach rentals. Reservations ninety (90) days or longer are not subject to this tax. A Processing fee of $90 is charged for all reservations. Our published all-inclusive rates include the above fees and departure cleaning.
Telephones and Internet:
Some properties have telephone service for local calls. Some properties allow long distance calls to be made. Please check with our well-informed staff regarding features at a specific property. Most properties have Internet access and information for access will be provided when reservation is paid in full.
From time to time, properties become unavailable for rental due to unforeseen circumstances. If this should happen, we at Myrtle Beach Vacation Rental Pros may provide the renter with substitute, comparable accommodations. If comparable accommodations are not available, rents or deposits will be refunded.
House Parties are not permitted:
House Parties are defined as occupancy by more than the allowable guests in a unit, or unruly, loud, or other objectionable activity carried on, in or around the property. If a house party develops, all guests will be asked to leave without refund. Quiet hours are from 11:00 pm until 8:00 am in all rental properties.
There must be one responsible individual at least 25 years of age who will occupy the property during the entire stay or reservation. It is the responsibility of the guest to leave the property in reasonably clean condition and to remove all guest property and trash upon departure. Any loss or damages will be the responsibility of the person booking the reservation and that credit card will be charged for all damages and extra work required in returning the property to the pre-rental state. Use and occupancy of the property is limited to the named guest and their party. Occupancy exceeding this number stated in the party at the time the reservation was made will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of all amounts paid.
Maintenance and Housekeeping:
Our in-house Owner Services team has made every effort to ensure that your vacation property is in the best condition possible and has checked to make sure everything was in proper working condition before your arrival. Our award-winning housekeepers take pride in their work and have prepared the property before your arrival. We encourage our guests to inspect their unit upon arrival to ensure all standards have been met. Please report any issues to our office immediately. Check out time is NOT the time to inform us about problems.
We cannot issue refunds for mechanical breakdowns, unit cleanliness, or inability to connect to the Internet. Myrtle Beach Vacation Rental Pros Owner Services personnel or representatives shall have the right to enter the property at reasonable hours to make timely repairs or inspections. If a service call is made and entry refused, the renter will be held liable for service call fees.
Some community parking lots or garages require parking passes to be displayed while in parking lot. Two visor tags will be assigned with each reservation and will be in the unit upon arrival. Please contact our office if additional permits are needed. Motorcycles, watercraft, trailers, trailered vehicles, high-rise vans, ATVs, and/or motor homes are not permitted at many properties. Please call our office for additional information concerning parking and/or suggested storage facilities if needed.
Golf carts are not permitted in every property. Please speak with our knowledgeable staff for more details if you are bringing a golf cart. Golf carts may not be parked in any open parking lot. Golf carts are subject to all laws and ordinances applicable to operations of a motor vehicle on public roads, including that all operators must possess a valid driver’s license. Traffic laws and ordinances are enforced by local authorities. Guests shall comply with all applicable laws and ordinances, shall be liable for any damage or injury they or their invitees cause while operating an electric vehicle, and shall hold Myrtle Beach Vacation Rental Pros free and harmless from liability for such damage or injuries. Damage to or caused by golf carts are not covered by the Accidental Damage Fee.
Many communities require identification tags and/or gate access cards for pool access. If you have rented a property with such requirements, the tags will be in the unit upon arrival. Pool tags and/or access cards must be cared for and left in the unit upon departure. The cost for replacements is posted on the Check Out policies in each unit. Fees for lost pool tags and access cards are not covered by the ADF policy. No glass containers or bottles are permitted inside any pool area.
Pet Friendly Properties:
Pets are not permitted in any community or property unless specifically noted on the property page and for the time period indicated. A Pet Policy and Contract must be completed before a pet is allowed in any pet friendly property. A $100 non-refundable pet fee is required for each rental period in a pet friendly property. Please contact our Reservations Staff for more information.
All city and community ordinances are to be observed. No vehicles are permitted on the dunes or beaches. No fires are allowed on the beach. No glass containers are permitted on the beach. Pets are not permitted on the beach after 9:00am and before 5:00pm May 15 through September 15 annually. Beach tents are not permitted on any beach in North Myrtle Beach or Myrtle Beach
Linens and Supplies:
Sufficient towels and bed linens are provided in all units. A starter supply of dishwasher soap, paper towels, facial tissue and bath amenities are provided with each rental. Towel and bed linen change-out services are available for a nominal fee. Please call our office to request this service. Used towels and linens will be removed at the time of replacement.
We provide departure cleaning for every reservation. Prior to your departure you are required to remove all items from the freezer and refrigerator, run the dishwasher and return items to their original places, carry out all trash, and close and lock all the windows and doors. Specific check-out instructions are posted at each property. You must leave the property in a secure and orderly fashion. Please do not wash linens.
Our vacation rental properties are all privately owned and reflect the individual tastes of the owner. Myrtle Beach Vacation Rental Pros cannot make changes to furnishings or equipment without the consent of the property owner. Furnishings in the homes and condominiums are NOT to be moved or rearranged. Do not take any furniture outside the premises. Televisions and DVD/VCR players are not to be moved. DO NOT attempt to move large televisions to hook up game devices. If the furniture is damaged as a result of such a move the guest will be charged. If housekeeping has to rearrange the furniture to the pre-rental state the guest will be charged.
units have a sofa bed. Linens will be provided if property has a sofa bed. Sofa beds are not recommended for adults.
Once a unit is booked the owner of the property is notified, all paperwork is processed and the property removed from availability. In most cases the owner has been paid for the rental. Therefore, if you need to make a change to a different unit for a legitimate reason, there will be a $150 moving fee. We will attempt to accommodate your request based on availability.
Myrtle Beach Vacation Rental Pros is not responsible for the opening and closing of community pools, golf courses, restaurants, shuttle service (if provided) or other amenities offered at your community. If we become aware of a change in any published service or amenity at any hotel or community, our guests will be notified.
Tourism is the largest industry in the Myrtle Beach & North Myrtle Beach area and new houses, hotels and condominiums are always being built or refurbished. We cannot predict the locations, times, or amount of construction activity. With that said we may not be able to inform you at the time of your reservation whether or not your accommodations are near a construction site. Should you find yourself near construction, please exercise patience and
understanding. In the event it becomes unendurable, we will do our best address the problem but no refunds or moves can be guaranteed.
Repairs and Emergencies:
We cannot guarantee small or large appliances, television sets, and DVD or VCR players. There are no refunds should they fail. We will strive to have any failed item repaired or replaced as quickly as possible. Total loss of air conditioning in extreme temperatures, if not caused by setting the thermostat too low, total loss of heat in extreme temperatures, and total loss of water are considered emergencies and will be handled immediately and repaired as quickly as possible. We reserve the right to enter the unit should there be an emergency in the building or the specific unit. We will make every effort to arrange a suitable time for any emergency entry.
Some properties within the same hotel or resort may offer advance booking discounts or other specials from time to time. These discounts may stop and start again at the direction of each property owner. Your rate is based on the published rate at the time of the reservation and cannot be changed if a subsequent discount is posted on the website. Certain specials authorized by individual owners and published on our website may not be combined with other specials offered by Beach Feet Vacations.
Locked Closets and Stored Items:
Some owners have locked private storage inside the premises. These areas are absolutely not included in the rental agreement. Entry into locked closets is prohibited and considered damage to the property. Owners may also have items stored in a clearly marked container in a closet. Do not tamper with these containers or bags. You will be charged accordingly.
No smoking is permitted inside any property offered by Beach Feet Vacations. Smoking may be permitted outside on the patio or balcony. Do not discard smoking materials on property grounds or in parking lots. If evidence if found that smoking has occurred inside the property you will be charged an additional $500 cleaning and sanitization service fee. Damages due to smoking (burns in furniture, carpets) will be additionally charged. Renters will also be charged for any loss of rental due to cigarette smoke.
